CULTURE DU CUIR

Used since prehistoric times, leather was already the basic material for making clothes before evolving into the various forms we know today. In antiquity, widely used in the saddlery trades. Currently, the variety of hides and skins is more important, especially that of traditional leather, and its usefulness mainly applies to the sectors of Fashion (leather goods), Decoration (furniture) and Automotive (seats).

Beautiful, solid, and durable, genuine leather is made of animal fibers, thus carrying a "lived" by default (especially when it is worked and then proposed in raw form). So finding some traces of scratches or freckles is much more than normal, being a guarantee of authenticity itself, these should not be interpreted as "manufacturing defects".
