Used since prehistory, leather was already the basic material for the manufacture of clothing before evolving into the various forms we know today. In antiquity, widely used in the trades of saddlery. Currently the variety of leathers and skins is more important, especially that of traditional leather and its usefulness applies mainly to the sectors of Fashion (leather goods), Decoration (furniture) and Automobile (seats).

Beautiful, solid and durable, genuine leather is composed of animal fibers with a "lived" by default (especially when it is worked and then offered in rough) so find some traces of scratches or freckles is much more than normal, guaranteeing authenticity itself. These must not be interpreted as "manufacturing defects".
